About the role

Our client is seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join the Front Office team of an established hospitality property in the Muldersdrift area. This is a guest-facing role requiring someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and can provide a welcoming, efficient and professional first point of contact for guests.

You will support the daily Front Office operation and assist guests throughout their arrival, stay and departure experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Welcome and assist arriving guests
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures
• Respond professionally to telephone and in-person enquiries
• Assist guests with property information and general requests
• Maintain accurate guest information and Front Office records
• Communicate guest requirements to relevant departments
• Handle guest queries and concerns professionally
• Assist with Front Office administration
• Maintain a professional and welcoming reception environment
• Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, F&B and other operational departments
• Follow property procedures and guest-service standards
• Support shift handovers and daily Front Office requirements

What they're looking for

• Previous Receptionist, Front Office or guest-service experience within hospitality advantageous
• Grade 12
• Hospitality qualification advantageous
• Strong guest-service orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and well presented
• Good administrative and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Friendly, approachable and confident with guests
• Able to remain calm and organised during busy periods
• Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays
