About the role

Our client is seeking a warm, polished and naturally engaging Waitron to join an intimate luxury wellness retreat in the Franschhoek area. This is not conventional restaurant service. The environment is deeply guest focused, with an emphasis on holistic wellbeing, conscious hospitality, regenerative living and genuine human connection. We are looking for someone who understands 5-star service standards but delivers them with warmth, ease and authenticity rather than overly formal hotel-style service.

• You will provide attentive food and beverage service while creating a relaxed, personalised experience for guests throughout their stay.
• You should be confident discussing menus and ingredients, anticipating guest needs and working closely with the culinary and hospitality teams. As the property regularly hosts wellness retreats, sensitivity to individual guest journeys, dietary requirements and the philosophy of holistic wellbeing is important.

• Previous Waitron experience within a 5-star, luxury or high-end hospitality environment
• Excellent service etiquette and guest engagement skills
• Warm, approachable and naturally hospitable personality
• Well spoken and professionally presented
• Good food and beverage knowledge
• Comfortable with highly personalised guest interaction
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Genuine interest in wellness, sustainability and regenerative hospitality
• Comfortable working shifts on a 6 days on / 2 days off rotation
• Must have reliable transport, live nearby, independently reach the property or be able to access the staff transport point in Paarl
• Position is live-out

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: R7,000 – R10,000 per month
