About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of an ultra-luxury safari lodge in Limpopo. This senior hospitality management position is suited to an experienced lodge professional with a strong understanding of all lodge departments, including Food & Beverage, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Front Office, Guiding and overall Lodge Operations. • Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Lodge Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the property while maintaining exceptional five-star service standards.
• The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership across all operational departments, working closely with departmental heads to ensure consistent service delivery, staff performance and guest satisfaction. A strong Food & Beverage background is essential, with the Lodge Manager actively involved in restaurant service, bars, guest dining experiences, stock control and F&B standards.
• This is a hands-on position requiring someone who is comfortable moving between departments, solving operational challenges, supporting the team and stepping in wherever required. The successful candidate must have the maturity and experience to act as the General Manager's operational right hand.

• Proven previous experience as a Lodge Manager or senior lodge management position
• Strong experience within a 5-star or ultra-luxury safari lodge
• Comprehensive operational knowledge across all lodge departments
• Strong Food & Beverage management experience essential
• Experience overseeing Front Office, Guest Relations and Housekeeping
• Understanding of lodge administration, stock control and operational procedures
• Strong leadership and staff management capabilities
• Exceptional guest relations and service standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial and commercial awareness
• Hands-on management style with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively in a remote lodge environment
• Passionate about luxury hospitality, service excellence and team development

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 per month
• Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
