About the role

We are seeking a detail and safety-oriented Observer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to protect clients, employees, property, and assets from hazards like theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. The candidate will maintain a highly visible physical presence, patrolling and controlling entry points.

• Entry and exit control, involving the management of clients, personnel, and assets entering or leaving a facility to prevent unauthorized access and theft.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Ensure the security, safety and wellbeing of all personnel and clients.
• Responding quickly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Assisting clients while maintaining a firm observing presence.

What they're looking for

• Grade 12 (Matric) required.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience will be advantages.
• A clear criminal record.
• Fitness to stand for long periods and the ability to make sound, calm decisions under high stress situations.
• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
