About the role
A niche optical practice, centrally located in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs and just minutes from the Sandton and Rosebank business hubs, is looking for an Optical Assistant with a warm, engaging personality who enjoys working with people and creating a positive patient experience. This is a front-of-office role suited to someone who is sales orientated, enthusiastic, chatty and confident in interacting with patients. You should have good dispensing skills, an eye for choosing frames that suit different faces and styles, and the ability to guide patients with confidence while delivering excellent service. We are looking for someone who is trainable, bubbly, interactive and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and good energy. Being a team player is important, as is taking pride in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both patients and colleagues.
