About the role
We are seeking an individual with a Strong understanding of vehicle components, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to keep the fleet running safely and effieciently.
- Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work.
- Repairing or replacing components as required.
- Road testing vehicles to test repair work.
- Performing service checks.
- Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
- Diagnosing, installing, and repairing vehicle wiring, Auto electrical wiring, and fluidpowered systems.
What they're looking for
- Experience working on heavy equipment, cars, earth moving equipment and trucks, requiring expertise in fault finding for both electrical wiring and hydraulic systems.
- 35 years experience in a similar position.
- Valid drivers License.
- Superior knowledge of motor vehicles and how to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnostic and problemsolving skills for determining vehicle problems and how to resolve them.
- Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Solid team player and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function under pressure.
